Terms and Conditions

Welcome to AlFajr Online Learning, an esteemed online tutoring academy dedicated to supporting virtual learners. Kindly take a moment to carefully review the following terms and conditions that govern our services.

1. Program Offering and Certification: Please note that AlFajr solely provides educational support and does not issue any school diploma or certificate.
2. Compliance with Homeschooling Laws: Parents are kindly requested to familiarize themselves with local, state, and applicable homeschooling laws. AlFajr does not provide legal guidance in this regard.
3. Minimum Enrollment Requirement: For the successful execution of our programs, we require a minimum of 10 students for each grade. Should a grade fall short of this requirement, we reserve the right to either merge it with another grade or cancel the program.
4. Curriculum Source and Implementation: AlFajr employs the comprehensive curriculum found on IXL.com. While we strive to cover various sections, completion of all curriculum areas within a grade cannot be guaranteed. Parents are encouraged to take an active role in supporting their child’s learning journey.
5. Combined Class Consideration: In instances of combined classes for two grades, our focus will be on the common topics shared by both grades’ curricula.
6. Late Fees and Quiz Redo Charges: Payments received after the 1st of each month will incur a late fee charge of $25.00 per week. Additionally, a fee of $30.00 will apply for quiz redos.
7. Fees and Currency: All fees are denominated in US dollars unless otherwise indicated. Canadian residents are permitted to pay fees in Canadian dollars upon verifying their residency.
8. Registration Suspension and Cancellation: AlFajr reserves the right to suspend or cancel any registration as deemed necessary.
9. Parental Responsibilities: Parents are responsible for monitoring their child’s online interactions, including communication with teachers and fellow learners. It is also expected that parents oversee class participation, communication with AlFajr staff, homework, and Moodle activities.
10. Behavioral Expectations: Respectful conduct is paramount within our learning environment. Any instances of harassment, bullying, or inappropriate language will be addressed. Repeated violations may lead to temporary suspension or expulsion from the program.
11. Technical Requirements: Students must possess functional equipment, including a computer/tablet, internet connection and a working microphone, to actively engage in classes.
12. Name Usage: Students are required to enter class sessions with their full legal names for proper identification.
13. Technical Issue Reporting: Should technical issues arise with quizzes, they must be reported at least two hours before the quiz’s closing time.
14. Agreement and Notice: By proceeding with registration, you acknowledge your understanding and agreement to abide by these terms and conditions. Please be aware that terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
